Hormel Foods ha nombrado a su actual presidente John Ghingo<\/strong> como su pr\u00f3ximo CEO, con efectos a partir del 26 de octubre. Tomar\u00e1 el relevo de Jeff Ettinger<\/strong>, quien fue designado CEO interino en julio de 2025. Ghingo ha sido presidente y miembro de la junta desde julio de 2025. Antes de unirse a Hormel, Ghingo desarroll\u00f3 una larga trayectoria en la industria alimentaria, incluyendo m\u00e1s de 15 a\u00f1os en Mondel\u0113z International. He is the owner and CEO of Horizon Venture Management and is a board member of the National Institute for Animal Agriculture. He worked for ABS as the global NuEra business development manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

USDA announced appointments to the National Fluid Milk Processor Promotion Board. Rachel Kyllo, Rick Beaman, Dave McVicker and Greg Miller<\/strong> were newly appointed and Kristen Coady<\/strong> and Miriam Erickson Brown<\/strong> were reappointed to the board. These members will serve three-year terms from July 27, 2026 to June 30, 2029. The board has 15 total members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mike Naftel <\/strong>will be director of business development at Kapi Kapi Growers. He most recently worked for Latin Specialties as the vice president of sales and strategy, but prior to that, he spent over 21 years with Del Monte Fresh Produce, most recently as the vice president of sales.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clint Krehbiel<\/strong>, the dean of the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech, has been elected president of the American Society of Animal Science. He succeeds Richard Coffey from Oklahoma State University as president. The president-elect will be Andrew Foote, also from Oklahoma State University.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cornerstone Government Affairs has announced the opening of a Nashville, Tennessee office, which will be led by JP Homik, Garrett Johnson and Kevin Crawford<\/strong>. Agriculture is one of Cornerstone\u2019s areas of expertise, and they specialize in biotech, commodity programs, environmental regulation, credit, federal lands, food and nutrition, natural resources, conservation, livestock, renewable energy, research, economic development, specialty crops and trade. The agriculture team has 20 members.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kevin Mainord\u00a0<\/strong>was elected chair of the Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council. The rest of the officer team is Justin Rone,<\/strong> vice chair, and Nathan White<\/strong>, secretary-treasurer. Mainord succeeds Mark Lehenbauer<\/strong> as chair.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Livestock Conservancy has hired Ashley Keatley\u00a0<\/strong>as education and outreach coordinator. She is an agricultural educator with 15 years of experience. She has also been an agriculture agent with Cornell University\u2019s Cooperative Extension.<\/span><\/p>\n
